How long will the repair work take?

As every crash repair or spray painting job is different, it is hard to give an exact time. Once you have sent through a quote request, we will be able to provide you with a timeframe for the job to be completed. Should anything change throughout the job, you will be kept in the loop to get your vehicle back as quickly as possible. 

Can I send in photos to get a quote done?

Yes, we love it when we get photos to work from when quoting up a job. Send through a high-quality image showing the area that has been affected. It is impossible to know what has happened under the surface after your car has been in an accident. For a full scope of the job, bring your vehicle to us, to get a complete quotation.

What can I expect when working with Dee Why Smash?

From the beginning, we take great care to understand what you would like done and step you through the process. Firstly, we will quote the work that is required, either you can send us a quote request here, or call us to discuss the details of your job.

After you have accepted the quote, we arrange a time for you to drop the vehicle to us at our Dee Why workshop, and we get to work. Each job is a little different, so as we progress through the steps, we will keep you up to date. 

Do I need to supply you with a VIN number?

Yes, this helps us to identify the vehicle. To find your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) look at the base of the windscreen on the passengers side, or on the front door jamb.

Can you match the paint colour of my car?

Absolutely! We are yet to meet a paint colour we haven't been able to match. Some car manufacturers insist on the vehicle returning to them for the 'special' paint colours. However, this isn't necessary. 

Which payment methods are available?

We prefer credit card, debit card, bank transfer or cash. Unfortunately, we do not accept cheques.

Can I bring the car in today?

Yes, absolutely. There is no requirement for a booking to have a quote done.

Will my car look as good as it did before?

We think it will look better. Our work comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee so that you can pick up your car with full confidence; it will look great!

I only have a small dent - do you do a spot repair?

Yes, we offer pickups within 5-10km of our Dee Why Workshop. When asking for a quote, let us know if you would like to use this service.
